
The Forest Ecology & Climate Change (FE&CC) Division, FRI Dehradun under the aegis of ICFRE, is conducting a one week MoEF&CC sponsored training program titled “Best Practices for Effective Management of Invasive Alien Plants”from Feb 10-14, 2025 at Chilla, Rajaji National Park. The inaugural session was graced by Dr. Renu Singh, IFS, Director, FRI, highlighting the threats of invasive species. Experts will provide insights through lectures and field demonstrations. This training aims to equip forest officers with the latest strategies for managing invasive alien species and mitigating their impact on biodiversity. Participants include IFoS officers from 11 states.
