FRI EIACP (Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Programme), a Resource Partner on Forestry and Forest Related Livelihoods, serves as a one-stop platform for the dissemination of environmental information, informed policy formulation on various facets of the environment, and facilitation of alternate livelihoods through green skilling. To raise awareness about Mission LiFE, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, EIACP Programme Centre at ICFRE-Forest Research Institute, Dehradun had a brief informative session about Mission LiFE with the students of Keladi Shivappa Nayaka University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, Shimoga, Karnataka during their educational visit to Forest Research Institute. The students and teachers were sensitized on adopting sustainable lifestyle practices for a sustainable environment and were made aware of Mission LiFE and its seven themes. Informative postcards on mission LiFE were also distributed among the participants.
