Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, EIACP Programme Centre at ICFRE-Forest Research Institute, Dehradun celebrated the International Women’s Day 2024 by organising an event with the staff, research scholars and students at NFLIC, Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. An interactive session was organised on this year’s theme ‘Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress’.
The day holds immense significance as a point for gender equality and women’s rights. It serves as a platform to raise awareness about the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women worldwide.
