Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, EIACP Programme Centre at the ICFRE-Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, in collaboration with the Forest Research Institute to be deemed University, to celebrate the World Sparrow Day 2024, organized a birdwatching event for the M.Sc. students. The aim of the birdwatching event is to raise awareness about the declining population of sparrows and other common birds due to urbanization, pollution, and habitat loss.
