FRI EIACP (Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Programme) Resource Partner on Forestry and Forest Related Livelihoods serves as a one stop platform for dissemination of environmental information, informed policy formulation on various facets of the environment, and facilitation of alternate livelihoods through green skilling.
An awareness programme was organized at New Forest Primary School, FRI, Dehradun by EIACP FRI on the occasion of Earth Day 2023. Various activities were conducted which included information on:
Earth Day brief history, Importance of forests, Mission LiFE initiative and it’s seven themes.
The programme was followed by an interactive session with the students who were also made Young LiFE ambassadors. In the end an origami session was organized for the students.
