FRI EIACP (Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Programme) Resource Partner on Forestry and Forest Related Livelihoods serves as a one-stop platform for dissemination of environmental information, informed policy formulation on various facets of the environment, and facilitation of alternate livelihoods through green skilling. To raise awareness about Mission LiFE and celebrate the International Mountain Day, the FRI EIACP Resource Partner on “Forestry and Forest related Livelihoods” organized an awareness workshop on the International Mountain Day and Mission LiFE with the students and staff of Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Science, College of Nursing, Dehradun, on December 11, 2023. In the event, 180 students and 15 staff from the college of nursing were sensitized about the seven themes of Mission LiFE and adopting healthy day to day lifestyle to conserve mountain ecosystems. Lastly, all the participants took pledge on the Mission LiFE.
