Setup Menus in Admin Panel

At present the Discipline is mainly involved in following major activities:

Implementation of research on climate change vegetation modelling.
Development of Biodiversity Information System (BIS).
Capacity building of officers, scientists, students of FRI as well as other Institutes in the field of Remote Sensing-GIS and informational technology. Conducting IIRS sponsored distance learning course under Outreach programme of EDUSAT. GIS centre of FRI is one of the recognised Centre of IIRS for conducting EDUSAT courses. Download Course calendar for the year 2021.
Guiding PhD research scholars of FRI Deemed to be University on the applications of geo-informatics for forestry through its Research and Advisory Committee on “Forest Geo-informatics”.
