Forest Research Institute, Dehradun celebrated Tribal Pride day (Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas) & Constitution day on 26th November, 2024

Today on 26th November, 2024 Forest Research Institute, Dehradun celebrated Tribal Pride Day on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Shri Birsa Munda and Constitution Day. In the beginning of the program, Dr. Renu Singh, Director Forest Research Institute and other officials first of all paid tribute to Shri Birsa Munda ji in the convocation hall of Forest Research Institute. Director, FRI address the gathering and brief information was given about the lifestyle of Shri Birsa Munda. All the divisions of the institute showed a short film of Shri Birsa Munda ji to all the officers and employees of FRI.

Thereafter, to spread the importance of the Constitution among the citizens of India and to spread the thoughts of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar by the Government of India, today on 26th November, 2024, in the convocation hall of the main building of Forest Research Institute. Director, Forest Research Institute, Dr. Renu Singh read out the Preamble of the Constitution of India in front of the all employees and administered the oath to comply with it.
