EIACP–RP FRI, Dehradun celebrated International Day of Forests 2026 through sessions and outreach at multiple locations.

EIACP-RP, Forest Research Institute Dehradun celebrated the “International Day of Forests 2026” under the theme “Forests and Economies” through interactive sessions and a special lecture at Dolphin (PG) Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences (≈450 participants), and outreach activities at Women’s Institute of Technology (≈245), BFIT College (≈300), and the Premnagar area (≈800 local citizens), reaching a total of around 1,800 people including students, staff, teachers, and citizens, highlighting the vital role of forests in livelihoods and economic development.
