EIACP–RP FRI and UKPCB Organize Mission LiFE Programme on Citrus Waste Upcycling at Doon University, Dehradun.

EIACP-RP Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, jointly with EIACP Hub–Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board, Dehradun organized the programme “The Peel Deal: Upcycling Citrus Waste for Sustainable Cleaning” under Mission LiFE Programme on 11 March 2026 at Doon University, Dehradun. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Surekha Dangwal, Vice Chancellor, who was welcomed by Dr. Parul Bhatt Kotiyal, Scientist-F & Coordinator, EIACP-RP FRI. A Mission LiFE presentation by Riya Jain, Information Officer, EIACP-RP FRI, was followed by a Hands-on training on eco-friendly cleaners from citrus peels conducted by Shivam Kumar Sharma, Programme Officer, EIACP-RP FRI, along with Mrs Rachna Nautiyal, IT Officer, and Mrs. Niharika Dimri, Information Officer, EIACP Hub UKPCB. Around 120 participants, including students, teachers, and staff, attended the programme, which concluded with the Mission LiFE Pledge.
