EIACP-RP, Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun organized a Webinar on “Ecotourism: The Promise & The Challenges” on 22 January 2026, achieving a wide outreach of 2,122 with 40 active participants. The session featured Dr. Rajiv Bhartari, IFS (Retd.), Natural Resources Fellow, NITI Aayog, Former PCCF-HoFF, Uttarakhand Forest Department, and Former Chairman, Uttarakhand Biodiversity Board, who shared valuable insights on authentic and regenerative tourism, supported by case studies from Uttarakhand and perspectives on social justice and sustainability.
